Creative Movement & Dance Workshops 2018

Discovering Inner Organic Support An Experiential Anatomy  & Movement Workshop with Jackie Adkins & Doe Warnes
Sat 28 April 10am-5pm

The skeleton provides us with a bony outer framework, whist our soft tissues and organs give us a physical and energetic support from within. When this inner support becomes depleted, it can lead to a general lack of vitality and our movements can feel heavy and restricted. In this workshop we will explore how to make a transition from a place of inner collapse to one of balanced fullness. Using movement, imagery and paired bodywork our aim is to increase organ strength and tone that will encourage feelings of aliveness, substance and presence. Suitable for people with some movement or bodywork experience and anyone interested in developing their body-mind awareness.
Venue: Eurythmy Studio, Steiner Academy, Park Road, Frome BA11 1EU
Cost: £85/£75 with early bird discount – extended till 31 March
